The core system provides everything below to every module, so a user who has learned one module already knows how the rest behave.
Users and access
- Unlimited users: no limits on the number of users, managers or administrators.
- The system automatically scales up capacity during periods of higher usage.
- Role-based access control with flexible user groups, assigned manually or automatically from HR data attributes.
- Each user sees only what they are permitted to see. Access to personal information and to records is controlled by the permissions your administrators set.
Interface and usability
- Intuitive interface: streamlined forms guide users through tasks, with questions that only appear when necessary.
- Fully responsive: the interface resizes and rearranges itself to work properly on desktop, laptop, tablet and smartphone screens.

- Customizable dashboards: administrators create dashboards for other users, and manager-level users create their own, with data filtered by user access settings.

Accountability
- Track changes: a read-only viewable history of every revision made to any form in the system.
- Autosaving, every minute and whenever the window is closed.
- Automated notifications and tasks: email notifications based on user roles and settings, and task assignment with reminders.
Assets and records
- File upload for documents, spreadsheets, photos and videos, with camera capture on mobile.
- Asset management for departments, buildings, locations, equipment and worksites or projects, with emergency contacts, maintenance logs and documentation.
- QR code functionality, auto-generated for all assets.
- Stewardship directory for quick access to emergency contacts such as committee members, first-aid attendants and fire wardens.
Integration and infrastructure
- Integration with other systems: HR and payroll, single sign-on, learning management systems, SharePoint, your province’s workers’ compensation board, and other client systems as required.
- Offline functionality: incident reports, hazard reports, first-aid reports, inspections and tailgate meetings can be completed offline and synced when connectivity returns.
- Cloud-based, hosted on Amazon Web Services in Canada.

It runs in the browser, with no app to install. Incident reports, hazard reports, first-aid reports, inspections and tailgate meetings can be completed offline and sync when connectivity returns, and every asset carries a QR code that opens its forms on the spot.
